Asbestos Management Plans
An asbestos management plan sets out where any confirmed or assumed asbestos or asbestos-containing material is present, and how it will be managed. A Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) must have an asbestos management plan in place for any structure where asbestos is found or is likely to be present. Structures built prior to the year 2000 are more likely to contain asbestos.
Asbestos survey information can be used to create an asbestos management plan which is a requirement for commercial landlords to be compliant under the Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016.
